Schofield’s Flowers, one of the first FTD member florists, supplied all flowers for O’Banion’s funeral, the funeral flower wreaths for the victims of The Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre, and for family patriarch Stephen Eugene Schofield, whose funeral was well attended by Chicago dignitaries like Mayor Daley, despite time spent in Sandstone Federal Penitentiary for “bookmaking”.

One hundred and twenty-one years after “Big Bill” Schofield first opened Schofield’s Flowers, his grandson Steve “Scof” Schofield is carrying forward the family brand, reimagining it for the 21st century.
